Having trouble using CLM Data warehouse with Insight 1.0.1.1

I am trying to move my CLM DW to be used by Insight 1.0.1.1. Here is my scenario:

RIDW is on AIX DB2 9.7 ESE (instance is db2inst1)

Insight server has Windows 2008 with DB2 9.7 ESE installed.

I cataloged the RIDW from AIX onto the DB2 on the Insight Server

I can get the ETL to run ok but when I go to the Insight server and try to test the connection in the Cognos Admin - I get an invalid user and password. If I set the credentials to the AIX db2 server I can get the test connection to work but it does not seem to stick. If I were to go that way (doesn't stick) then I can't use the rptuser for access.

I have tried installing DB2 on the Insight server with the same user and pw as AIX but that doesn't work either.

If I create the DW on the Insight server I can get everything to work but then I have 2 DWs which is not optimal and would prefer the DW on the AIX server where I have more horsepower and can share the DW with the OOTB reports.

I remember asking this question in the managed beta conference calls and this scenario was described as possible. I must be missing something but I have searched the wiki and the documentation and don't see it.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Are you running Windows 2008 R2?
DB2 on Windows 32 or 64?
DB2 on AIX 32 or 64?
Is you DB2 instance set to server or client authentication?
What do you mean when you say "If I set the credentials to the AIX db2 server I can get the test connection to work but it does not seem to stick"? What other credentials do you think would work in this case? What exactly isn't sticking?
Is rptuser a valid AIX account?
You say "I have tried installing DB2 on the Insight server with the same user and pw as AIX but that doesn't work either." but further down you state that you have in fact installed the DW on the insight server and it works, which of the two statements is true? Can you clarify?
Do you have punctuation marks or non alphabetic or numeric characters in your password?

I finally figured it out a week or so ago. You need to go in and set
the rptuser credentials which was not clear. I found it following
another thread in the doc and tried it and it solved my problem
