Use of Filed Against field

I am trying to use the field "Filed Against" on the defect creation screen. At present the only option that is available is "Unassigned" and I cannot find ways to populate them.

Work Item categories are what shows up in the Filed Against field. Essentially you need to use the RTC Eclipse Client to configure your project area's work item categories. If you are using RQMs build in defect system, then you'll need to download the RTC Eclipse client that is compatible with your version of RQM. I believe you can any RTC 2.0.x client to connect to RQM 2.0.x.
