Manage read permission (Stream, WI) in process configuration

Hi,

I'm intern at Alcatel-Lucent and I study Jazz and Rational Team Concert since january. I really appreciate Jazz and great job you do.

I would like submit to my professors some ideas about a possibility to use Jazz and RTC in our developments at school.

To be more concret, here is an example :

We have 1 professor, 10 teams of 2 students and one common project. Each team has to do the same project, and has to reach the same goal

A team must not be aware of what do other teams.

With Jazz I think it would be a single project area, with 10 team area. Each team area has a Stream. The question is : Is it possible to deny access to team Stream and team Work Item from other teams ? I have not seen this type of permission in the process configuration.

Thanks in advance

We don't have a mechanism in Jazz to hide data in a repository from different users who have login access. If this is critical to you, then you'll have to run two repositories, possibly on the same machine.

In the context of Jazz in the classroom, there are a couple of other Universities that have been pioneering Jazz as a teaching tool. See https://jazz.net/pub/community/research/teachingprojects.jsp.
