LDAP Nightly Sync Task Error
We have been receiving the following error after the LDAP Nightly Sync Task runs for a little over a week now:
AsynchronousTaskRunner-4] ERROR ice.internal.userregistry.ldap.LDAPNightlySyncTask - The LDAP nightly synchronization task did not complete. Check the following exceptions for more information. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The licenseId must not be blank I then went to our Jazz Team Server Admin page --> clicked on the Server tab --> License Key Management --> Default License ID. We have 3 options available to choose from: (1) none (2) Rational Requirements Composer Author Unlocked (3) Rational Requirements Composer Reviewer Unlocked. We currently have NONE selected as our option. Our issue is that we have more users than licenses and only assign them as needed. At this time we do not want to use up a license that is going to be needed as we have more users than licenses. Has this issue come up before? Is there a fix for this issue? Why do you have the option of NONE if you are required to select a default licenseId? Thank you for your assistance. |

The problem you are hitting was reported in https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/119390 and was fixed in RTC 3.0.
If you cannot move to 3.0, another workaround is to stop your server, and manually remove the property "com.ibm.team.repository.default.licenseid" completely, then restart your server. |
