junit.framework.AssertionFailedError testing HelloJazz

Chibuzo Obi (312) | asked May 20 '08, 4:03 p.m.
I downloaded the HelloJazz source from the following location: https://jazz.net/learn/content/docs/hello-jazz/com.example.hellojazz-plugins-source.zip

Now i'm trying to execute a JUnit plug-in test for it having followed the directions on the tutorial: https://jazz.net/learn/LearnItem.jsp?href=content/docs/hello-jazz/index.html (section: Running the test)

However I am getting the following error, and I'm stuck. Has anybody got this working?

If my line numbers match yours, it looks like you're failing the first
assert in testSayHello which means the call to getClientLibrary is
returning null. This would imply that the client library is not
registered. The client library should be registered with an extension
in the com.example.hellojazz.client plugin (make sure you imported that
plugin).

Which version of jazz are you trying this with? There are also some
instructions for testing within the Eclipse client. Does that work for you?

Thanks Chris,
I haven't tried testing in Eclipse.
However I am using RC1.
The archive that included the HelloJazz example's source already had the dependencies imported, so I didn't have to import anything. At any rate, I have verified that the extension exists.
