Access to RFT Recording capabilities through RFT API

Hi,

Sorry I'm posting this on RQM Forum but I didn't find a RFT Forum. Let me know if one exists.

Currently we are using a home made testing framework based on RFT API on RFT 8.1.

What I would like to know is if there is a way to extend/reuse recording capabilities of RFT.

What I want to do is to create my own record tool to generate my test scripts in my own format and code standards. I want to capture user actions information and treat it to generate testing code.
