RTC 3.0 "Start working" on a work item doesn't set

Attila Mate (71184) | asked Mar 01 '11, 5:42 a.m.
We've migrated from RTC 2.0.0.2 to RTC 3.0 and there's a significant change in behaviour: if I start working on a WI (state transition New -> In progress), RTC doesn't set this WI as current work. Also, if I stop working (In progress -> New), it doesn't remove it as current work.
How can we get back this very useful and much needed functionality?

Thanks,
Attila

Attila,

There is a "Set as current work item" and "Set as current work item" action on the work item's drop down menu and in the my work view but it does not trigger a state change. I could not find a way to configure any automation.

I am not sure what drives this change. You could raise a work item.

I've created work item 155661 to bring back the 2.0 functionality.
Please feel free to add a comment indicating your interest/support.
