Hi,

I have a question. What does "Fail if not installed" option mean ?

This option is found on Process Configuration.( Team Configuration > Operation Behavior > adding any precondition )

I could not find any information about this option from jazz.net or Information Center.

thanks in advance.

Hi,

that means that that if the client does not have the required software installed for the precondition to work the operation will fail. I think that can happen if a precondition relies on a tool that is optional and that is not available. I haven't tried that but the Visual Studio Client and especially the Web Client does not provide some of the validation tools the eclipse client has. I would assume deliver operations where these preconditions are set with "fail if not installed" would fail.
