What does "Fail if not installed" option mean ?
Hi,
I have a question. What does "Fail if not installed" option mean ? This option is found on Process Configuration.( Team Configuration > Operation Behavior > adding any precondition ) I could not find any information about this option from jazz.net or Information Center. thanks in advance. YUSUKE. |

Hi,
that means that that if the client does not have the required software installed for the precondition to work the operation will fail. I think that can happen if a precondition relies on a tool that is optional and that is not available. I haven't tried that but the Visual Studio Client and especially the Web Client does not provide some of the validation tools the eclipse client has. I would assume deliver operations where these preconditions are set with "fail if not installed" would fail. Ralph Hi, |
