How-to: create a new test plan template from a test plan

Olivier Béghain (1082234) | asked Feb 14 '11, 8:04 a.m.
Hello,

Is it possible to create a new test plan template in RQM 2.0 using a existing (concrete) test plan? The goal is that some of the properties of the concrete test plan (eg. list of test environments) are already defined once we create a new test plan from the template.

Thanks in advance,
Regards

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for your question, it is an interesting feature what you mention. But unfortunately the artifact templates won't help you to achieve that. Templates only are able to keep the sections list and order.
A possible way to do that is to create a dummy test plan and make as many copies as needed from it.
