Hi Tony,

here my 2 cents.

With respect to the client experience with Eclipse or Firefox:
I have not seen any differences in the behavior.
The real questions I guess are: Do all the tools needed to be used run on your preferred platform? Which environments do the users prefer?

On the Server I don't see any benefits either.
