In version 2.x we can restore an artifact from history. But in version 3.0(beta2) I didn't find it????

Restore from history is not available in the Beta release, but it is expected to be available in the final RRC 3.0 release.

how about in DOORS NG 4.0.3 or later.........is/will the restore from history be available?

From the web client artifact history you can make a previous version be the latest, so long as the artifact has not been deleted. Are you wanting to restore a deleted artifact?

If you are wanting to restore a deleted artifact the only way I know how to do this is to use a project baseline, with a time stamp, just after the artifact was deleted and then create a new artifact and copy the content, links and attributes from the history. You loose the comments and history but least it gets close.
