RQM Server Release of Licenses after Logout

The 2 hour delay in the release of licenses after a proper logout is too long. It should be no more than 15 minutes or it should be customizable by the customer.

Hi Dan,

The 2 hour timeout was an intentional design decision in Jazz Foundation. This technote may provide some additional insight:
Technote 1417005: One Rational Quality Manager floating license lease maximum may be terminated per hour

This link goes to a generic page that says the page cannot be displayed.

I have been seeing licenses getting held over (expirations in the past) and users cannot use unless I change the license server or swap them to 'static' license .

I had hope that this thread might have addressed some of that.

FYI... the link is correct. The "page cannot be displayed" is due to an temporary server outage, which the IBM.com team is aware of and actively working to resolve. Try the link again on Monday and it should work.

Is it still the case in 3.0.1 that, once a floating license is acquired, it will be held for 2 hours (minimum) even if the user logs out? With the exception that an administrator can terminte a floating lease once per hour.

Thanks.
