Problem attaching files to Workitem

Narayanan Potti (27037679) | asked Oct 14 '10, 4:32 p.m.
Hello RTC experts

Please bear with me if this question / problem was answered earlier.

Details of my RTC environment:

Jazz Team Server - 1.0.0.2 iFix 2 (I20100331-2220)
Rational Team Concert - 2.0.0.2 iFix 2 (I20100331-2220)
Installed on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2

I have a customized workitem type. There's a workitem with 13 files already attached to it. I have a user on RTC Web UI who wants to attach more files to it and the user is not able to do it. When user tries to add a file the RTC Web UI is taking forever to respond.

Is there a known limit either on the number of files that can be attached to a workitem or the total size of attachments to a workitem ? If this is documented please send me the link to it.

Thank You
NP

Hi

I am not aware of a limit on the number of files you can attach.

What you should check is the size of the attachment - the WebUI may take a long time to respond because it is busy uploading to the server. Also - double-check you have not run out of space on the server database (your database may have a fixed size).
