RRC behind proxy can not create projects with thick client

We are running RRC 2.0.0.1 iFix1 behind a proxy server. When we create new projects with Internet Explorer they seem to be created successfully. If we try to create a new project utilizing the RRC client it does not seem to run the project initialization and we cannot access the new project.

Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know why a web browser will work but the thick client will not?
