I cannot add users as a member to a project

After I created a project in the ADMIN application, I can't add users as a member to the project.
In the project I click on the link "Show project members..."
Then I click on the link "Add Member"
A listbox appears with users (after I give in the wildcard *)
I select an user and click "Add" or "Add & Close"
Nothing happens, only the message "Loading members preview..." is shown.
Waiting doesn't help. The user simply isn't added to the project.
I am using Firefox 3.6.10

@Monica: A good suggestion to look at the template! Thanks.
What happened is as follows:
I first installed and set up just the ADMIN and the RM applications, because my PC doesn't have enough memory for registrating all the applications at once.
After that I created a project, and in this project I didn't have the oportunity to choose a template and also I didn't succeed to add members.
After this I installed and set up the CCM application separately.
When you mentioned the template, I noticed that in this project a template was not specified.
So I created a new project, in which I was able to choose a template as well to add users successfully!
It seems that the templates come only with the CCM installation.

Great news that you were successful with CCM.
Can you provide a little more detail on what you did when trying to create an RM project, particularly,
- Did you complete /jts/setup and if so, what did you skip? Did you just uncheck most apps during the register step? Did you register the 'admin' app?
- What url did you use to create the RM project?
- What url were you on when you attempted to add users to the RM project
Thanks for the info

After I created a project in the ADMIN application, I can't add users as a member to the project
I was having exactly the same problem with adding users to the lifecycle project. Here what I did:
1. First of all, during the installation of CLM Workbench (RC0 Beta 2) through the Installation Manager I checked only Jazz Foundation an Requirements management applications, so CCM and QM were never installed (I need only Requirements management application for my test stand).
But I guess it works the same if you just uncheck CCM and QM on the applications registration page during the /jts/setup process.
2. I went through the setup procedure at /jts/setup. It was completed successfully.
3. I created a lifecycle project by clicking on the "create project" link on the page: https://<server>:9443/admin/web#/projects
4. On the page: https://<server>:9443/admin/web#/projects/new I selected "No template (build project manually)", I couldn't select any other template because all of them required either CCM or RM application, or both (which are not installed).
5. I tried to add an Artifact container by clicking on "Add..." link in the "Additional Artifact Containers" section, but there were no containers available for the Requirement server, and I couldn't create a new one.
6. I pushed the "Save" button, and got the message that the project was successfully created.
7. Then I went to the "Show project members..." link for the newly created project, clicked "Add member", selected a user from the list and pushed "Add & close" button.
The next thing I got was only a message: "Loading members preview...", just like the topic-started stated.
So, I guess the problem is that adding a user to a lifecycle project also gives access for the artifacts containers in that project. So if there are no containers connected to the project, the system just doesn't add the user.
What can be done to resolve this (well, that worked in my case):
1. Go to Template page in Lifecycle Project Administration
2. Download one of the templates (I used "Quality Professional - Integrated with Development" - as it has a RM repository)
3. Edit the template file: delete or comment parts where Project areas for RTC and RQM are defined (I also deleted the projectAreaLinks part), leaving only the definition of DOORS RP Project area. I guess it's also needed to change template's identifier, title and description.
4. Import this new template.
5. Create a lifecycle project using this template.
After that users can be added to the lifecycle project.
And a couple of suggestions for the developers:
It would be nice to see the interface for creating project areas (adding Artifact Containers to a lifecycle project) for all three CLM applications in lifecycle project administration tool. Or maybe, if there already is one, could anyone please tell me where to find it?
Or at least maybe it will be possible to include templates for lifecycle project containing only artifact container for RM application in the next beta.
And of course it would be great to get something more informative than "Loading members preview..." when trying to add a member to a project :)

I don't know whether this helps, but there some separate RM only templates, that from the RRC web client an adminstrator can use when creating a new project including base project, agile, and use case.
In the top right hand corner of the web page, is the user name, to the left of the name is a admin menu. Selecting "Create Project" and after entering the name of the new project there are some predefined project templates.
Is is also possible to create new RM templates from existing projects.

Thank you very much, Robin! This really works for me. I wonder how I could miss that!
