Jazz, LDAP and SSL Certificates

We have LDAP on AD. However, it is a single forest and is not a federated realm. Our domain does not support SSL Certificates.

1. How do I configure LDAP in this environment on WAS. What repository system do I use? IBM docs indicate this is tricky...

2. From what I have read on configuring LDAP for Jazz on WAS, SSL Certificates are required. Can I get around this?
