Hi, I have a question: Hi I have been using the Windows installer (x86) with Windows7 64bit. It seems to work but not sure if I am taking advantage of the bigger address space. anthony |
The installer will install a 64-bit JRE on a 64-bit Windows so it should certainly take advantage of it.

Another related question - I have been running the launchpad application which in turn runs installation manager. Will the launchpad.exe file recognize the 64-bit system invoke the right installs? I think I tried to run the launchpad64.exe application without any luck. thanks anthony |

I recently installed RTC 3.0 on 64 bit Windows Server 2008 R2 with 32 bit Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
I did face some issues related to :
-- confuring JDBC driver to work with SQL Server 2008
-- running 32 bit SQL server on custom port and creating JDBC connection string.
-- collation setting for databases
I took screenshots and put together following document -http://nkumar83.wordpress.com/2013/06/06/whitepaper-on-installation-and-configuration-of-ibm-rtc-3-on-windows/
This should help those who are planning to install RTC on Windows
