customizing dashboard templates

Kim Soederhamn (1.5k34348) | asked Sep 27 '10, 7:38 a.m.
Hey All,

I try to customize the dashboard templates in a process template to display some specific queries that we have made for our projects.

The strange thing is that I get the message:
The work item query does not exist. Please select a new query.

And then I can selct a query with exactly that same name. As a sample I would add com.ibm.team.workitem.viewlet.statistics and custom "Critical scope unresolved work items" query. This can not be found but it can be found if I edit the dashboard directly on the web.

Any ideas anyone ?

Viewlets in process templates can only reference work item queries that are also defined in the process template and they must be references using the string id that they are give in the definition of the query.

Is this how you were defining the query in the template? If so, can you post the relevant snippets of your work item process config data as well as the process config data for the viewlet in question?
