Change Set DIFF Display Format in RTC Web U/I

Our Development teams all use the Eclipse based RTC client, but our Systems Engineers use the Web U/I. Recently one of the Systems Engineers was reviewing the code changes for a Change Set and since the DIFF format includes only the changed areas of the file, initially missed something.

What he thought would be very helpful would be if the AFTER view, which displays the entire file, would highlight the lines that were changed. Then he would be able to see the surrounding context of the changes that were made.

Is this currently an option in the Web U/I -OR- would you consider adding this capability to the AFTER view?

Thanks,
Carl

Carl,

There isn't an integrated view for seeing the diff and the after state
but there should be links to open the before and after states from the
diff UI. However, this feature may be new to 3.0 so the links may not be
there if you are using RTC 2.0.0.x or before.
