Difference of Iteration Type

James Labrie (18123818) | asked Sep 07 '10, 2:34 a.m.
Hi

I'm now using RTC2.0.0.2 Fix3 with simple team process.

In "Project Area -> Overview", when clicking "Create Iteration", <None> or Development Iteration can be selected in Iteration Type.

What is the difference between <None> and "Development Iteration"?
(What effect do they have?)

Regards
James

Hi James,

The iteration type is used to define the permission and operation behavior. You could define your process for a specific iteration, but if you have a lot of iterations with the same process, you could abstract a process for this type of iterations.

Here are some links for process lookup, hope it helps.
