RTC Jazz Server login issue
Hi All,
I am new to RTC. Request some help. I had a folder which contained "RTC-Client-Win-2.0.0.2" and "RTC-Enterprise-Server-2.0.0.2". I created workspace,Project Area etc ( I mean first 3 steps in the 8 steps of "DO and learn" section in RTC Information Center) ... for the first time...It had 60-day trial license..Then due to some break ...cudn't work on RTC and started again on AUgust 25th...I got a message that "THE SERVER LICENSE HAS EXPIRED" It got expired on August 21st'2010. So, I downloaded only the server version "RTC-Enterprise-Server-2.0.0.2" again from jazz.net site ..and I just renamed the old one as old and in my folder copied the new version of "RTC-Enterprise-Server-2.0.0.2" which I downloaded.. Then I ran server.startup script which comes with the installable and created a workspace...When I try to "create a new repository workspace"..it asks me to login ..when the give the ID as "admin" and password as "admin" before it used to work..but now it says Invalid User or password... Can you tell me how to login in such case "or" how do I add "admin" ID as the main Admin ID.. Someone suggested that if we open this link "https://localhost:9443/jazz/web" and go to user administration and add the ID.. But even this wants a ID and password to login :-(( ...How can I create a ADMIN ID on my jazz server instance... Please treat this as high priority... Request to help me out on the same. Hi All,
I got the resolution.. http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/09/scrumprojectmanagementteamconcert-1/index.html#2.Set%20up%20the%20Rational%20Team%20Concert%20repository%20and%20users In this link..they have mentioned that Tip: When you use an installation of a Jazz server on your local system, the URI might be, for example, https://localhost:9443/jazz/, and the initial user ID is ADMIN with ADMIN as the password, too (both are case-sensitive). So, I tried that and it worked.. Thanks a lot everyone... Regards, Sandhya |
