Hello guys,

after creating a snapshot, you can promote it to a stream not configured with the components that snapshot catalogs.

What is the purpose of being able to send that baseline tags to a stream without such components?

This covers certain use cases such as having a snapshot for a stream that
you *think* you are done with and will never support again. So you delete
your stream, but you still want your snapshot easily available just incase
you're wrong and for historic purposes. You might consider associating
that snapshot to your 'current' stream.
