Build Forge integration with RTC issue

Shwetalee Raut (142) | asked Jul 12 '10, 3:11 p.m.
A remote update site is usually located on a host with Build Forge installed by specifying http://<bf_hostname>/rtc (http://%3Cbf_hostname%3E/rtc) (for RTC 1.0.x) or http://<bf_hostname>/rtc2 (http://%3Cbf_hostname%3E/rtc2) (for RTC 2.0.x)
we use https not http
https will not work for user to get to rtc2

Do you mean that when you try to add the https update site URL into the Eclipse update/install manager, that it fails to access the update site?

You could try copying the contents of the update site to a local directory, and specify the local file path to it in the update/install manager.
