how can the deferred story or task be moved

HI

i have created stories, epics and tasks for an iteration with epic being top level work item, some of the work items have deferred and some are completed. How can i include or move the deferred work items in my next iteration.
since if a story is assigned a new planned for than it wont be counted for the previous iteration.
Can any body suggest what actions are to be used for this, so that the work items be counted in both the iterations

Thanks in advance

In a sprint/iteration plan in Eclipse, you can right click on a work
item and select the "Continue Work in" operation.

Or you can do it manually, by creating a "related" work item, assigned
to the appropriate iteration. You would then adjust the estimate of the
original work item, to reflect the amount of effort applied to that work
item in the current iteration.

Geoff

It is my understanding that the sub-menu is populated by the iterations
that follow the current iteration. So if there aren't any, create one,
and try again. If there are iterations that follow the current one,
you'll probably need to engage with support, or submit a defect on
jazz.net (unless someone else in the forum has another idea).

Geoff
