Rename Jazz User

Andrew Trobec (49713144139) | asked Jun 28 '10, 6:30 a.m.
Hello Everyone,

I created a user under the "User Management" tab of the Jazz Team Server, but I made a mistake when typing in the name.

How do I rename it? I can't figure it out via web. I can make other changes such as mail configuration and work environment, but I cannot modify the name.

How can I do this?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Andrew

It looks like you cannot edit the name - but not the User ID. This is fixed in the WebUI and Eclipse client - not tried it in VS but suspect it is the same.

Hi Andrew,

User Id is a read only attribute, and for the user name, when it is backed by a non-writeable external user registry like LDAP, it can not be changed as well. Did you create user by importing user information from LDAP?

Hi Andrew,

I can not see your problem in latest jazz fundation server, you could try Jazz Foundation 3.0 M6a as well.
