feeds in secured M5 setup

Hi,

In our 0.6M5 installation all feeds (on the RTC client) show with a "red X" icon with details:

Unable to connect to the supplied Link.
Detail: Authentication failed, see Error Log for details

This is fixed by selecting "Remember my password" in the Jazz Repository Connection properties dialog.

Is this a bug or do we have a configuration error ?

thanks

Daan.

Hello Daan,

a defect was submitted about the error message you get.
See WI 46487 https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Project#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=46487

In a secure connection I get the same behavior as you, a red X icon and the error message that goes away by selecting "Remembre my password" in the Repository Connection properties.

Feel free to submit a defect about the behavior. "Remember my password" should remember the password for the next connection. This seeting should not be needed that RTC "knows" the logged on user's password within the same session.

Maybe it is related to the previous, but after opening a feed in the RTC client and selecting an item from the feed (for instance a work-item) we get an error dialog saying:

Error running operation 'Opening Hyperlink'
Error running operation 'Opening Hyperlink'
Couldn't open workitem. Repository unknown.

Right-clicking/copy-shortcut gives a shortcut of:

https://nlybstqvp4ms150.code1.emi.philips.com:9443/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/9

Opening this in a web-browser works fine (after logging-in)

regards Daan.

Daan,

this second issue that WI cannot be opened seems to be submitted as a defect. See WI 41362 - Cannot see the work item details in Feeds https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Project#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=41362
