urgent help required on qm.xsd...

Hi,
We are trying to pull data from RQM using RPE.As we have some customized sections in a test plan we are not able to pull data using qm.xsd.

Is it possible to modify qm.xsd?

Any help would be appreciated..

what do u mean by RPE, use MOZILLA POSTER tool which may help u.

Hi, i believe Mithila refers with RPE to "Rational Publishing Engine." I'm having the same problem with versions 2.0.1 iFix2 and RPE RQM 1.1.1.1, I hoped to see in the Data Source Schema the "testplan/com.ibm.rqm.planning.editor.section.dynamicSection_1274956370303", as described in this doc:

If the custom sections are part of the default template for the testplan (or other asset type), you can get a schema definition that includes the custom sections by going to:

https://<hostname>:<port>/jazz/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/schema/qm.xsd

From within RPE_Studio, in the Outline view, you can right click on the Data Source Schema in question and do a "replace schema...", then enter the url above.

From this point on the custom sections will be availble for use in RPE document templates.


You can also manually edit the data source schemas from RPE. In the outline view, right click and select "open schema in editor".

i could successfully access the info contained in the customized Test Plan section in RQM 2.0.1 iFix2 (english version)

I was not able to access the same information in the spanish version i had intalled. I dont know if this could be a Bug.
