Conversion of MS Project file .MPP to .XML
Hi,
I got issue for file conversion from .mpp (MS Project) to .xml formatin RI. Basically I understand that this .mpp file not supported in RI Data Manager as source to pull into DW, if it is wrong please correct me. Is it possible this conversion available in RI components? Or How do pull data from MS Project file format is .mpp in to Data Manager. I appreciate your greate help in advance. |

Rational Insight will not convert your MS Project data to XML automatically, you will need to do this manually. In order to allow Insight to interpret the XML data, you will need to download the Microsoft Project XML schema. This InfoCenter topic describes where to download the schema. Hope it helps,

As I understand your scenario, you want to import the data from multiple MS Project files into Insight. In this case I think you'll need to set up multiple data jobs in order to extract the information from the multiple MS Project files.
