Possible to export the approver's name

Kaoru Hosokawa (3666) | asked Jun 03 '10, 2:46 a.m.
Hi! I am exporting the work item info to a CSV file. However I could not find the approver's name in the list of things that can be exported. Is it not possible to export the approver's info? Is this working as designed? Thanks.

It is working as design. It has been intentional not to show the approval column.
Do not show 'Approvals' attribute when exporting query results (100078)

This feature is expected to be available in future release
Approvals don't show up in query Export Work Items in Eclipse (280330)

From what I've observed, this currently isn't possible (our version is 4.0.1).

I think the alternative workaround is to leverage the REST API. You can find the approver name by using:

Approvals/Approver/Name

Now if only I knew the command to find the approver state...
