Distribute RTC in a team
I would like to set up a team using Jazz. Does every user has to become membor of the community? Or is there any other way of installing RTC than typing in username and password of the community?

If I have understood you correctly - this is really two questions: 1) Should all your team get a jazz.net login for each team member? Yes please. This really helps when they use the forum and create work items. 2) Can you install RTC other than using the Installation Manager? Yes to this too - you can download the complete client (it is one of other zip files on the download page) and just install by unzipping. You should also be able to set up a local site with the RTC client files and point the installation manager at that local site rather than grabbing files from jazz.net at installation time - this is how the installation manager works for other products. I have not (yet) tried this though. Hope that does answer the question - keeping asking otherwise. regards anthony |
