Hi!

We are trying to execute test cases, but we have found out that we cannot execute manual test cases containing scripts, this error shows when we try to run it: .

We cannot figure out why we can execute test cases that are scriptless. Can someone help us?

Hi,

It seems that the user who is trying to execute the test does not has the right permissions. Please add the Create, Edit permissions for Execution Task to this user and try again. You could do this from the Administrative panel.
To execute a Script in the Test case user must have the task creation and modification permissions. Incase of scriptless execution this permission does not come into picture.

Hope this help

Hi vaibhav,

We have checked the user roles in RQM & found that the user has required access to perform the task. Also we tried restarting the RQM service & removing the user from RQM & again adding the same user in RQM.
Still we are facing the same issue.

Can you please provide your thoughts along with some probable solution.
