default work item owner

Workitem 35373 addresses Sachin's second point (about sending email).
What about the first point ... automatically setting a default owner ...
wouldn't that be possible with process?

Sachin: For my team, I just have a query I periodically execute that
locates all workitems in my team's category that don't have an owner.
That is a convenient way for me to triage incoming workitems.

Hi Geoff,

we currently don't support setting a default owner on new work items, I have opened enhancement 45859 to track this. The more general request seems to be that users need a way track incoming work items.
