How re-activate an archived project area?
Hi,
I accidentally archived an active project area. How can I re-activate it? There's not button/link available in the list of archived project areas to let do that. Please help. Thanks. |

Hi, I don't think you can .. if you're at the project administration window, there should be two options on the navigator .. active projects and archived projects .. your archive should be under the latter, but I'm not sure if there's a unarchive capability |

It is not possible to "un-archive" project areas in Jazz Team Server based products, including RQM. For more information, see several past discussions on this topic: http://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33&highlight=unarchive+project http://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1717&highlight=unarchive+project http://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2751&highlight=unarchive+project http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=14229294 And also in the documentation and WebUI. The archive operation cannot be undone, so be sure that you really want to archive a project area or team area before doing so.Source: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rtc/v2r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.jazz.platform.doc/topics/t_archive_proj_team.html @yfang, if you need to restore this project area, you will need to do it on a database level (restore from your last database backup before the accidental archive). Of note, there is a Jazz Foundation Enhancement open asking that this be changed in a future release: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=60325 |
