Deleting inserted execution variable

When creating a script we tried inserting an execution variable in the script. While its fairly simple to create and delete them - removing them from a step seems to be a different matter.
Does anyone know how to delete an inserted execution variable from a step without having to delete the whole step and start over ? We can delete all other content in the field but not the execution variable box.

Hi Kim

Which version of RQM are you on? In 301, using firefox, I was able to delete by dragging the mouse over the execution variable in the step and pressing delete or by placing the cursor before the execution variable and pressing delete.

Thanks,
Deepa

It was 3.0.1 and I was using firefox I belive .. we were not able to mark the box of the execution variable. We could mark all the text though. so eventually we had deleted all content excpt the execution variable :-)
