About process templates and Jazz
Hi all,
Please think of an environment consisting RPC, RRC, RTC, RQM and Build Forge. In addition, we're developing a methodology with RMC.
My questions are as follows;
1) Without the RMC and methodology; What is the level of configuration I can achieve by defining a process template for my environment? Ie. Do all the tools mentioned have the same roles and similar permissions in case I upload a process template through jazz admin? Or the due to the different authorizations and permissions available in the tools, I need to configure each of'em seperately eventhough I upload the process template?
2) With the methodology developed in RMC; I'm aware that the methodology developed in RMC can be exported and imported to my instance and will be applicable up to 'some extent'. Actually, I'm investigating that extent? What is the life in practice once I upload a methodology created in RMC to RTC? Any reference material or links are also appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

For your first question, could you please give more detailed information,
such as the user scenario. Normally, if you upload a process template and
create a project area with this process template successfully, this
project area will have the same permission and behaviour configurations
with the template.
For your second question, I think you are asking how RMC integrate with
Jazz, right? If so, here are some useful links:

Hi,
1. Without RMC or methodology, you still can config everything by creating a process template in RTC by yourself, you won't lost any functionality that support by RTC.
2. But with RMC, it will make the process/methodology definition very easily, since this is the RMC's main responsibility. If you have eve created a project area with any of the process templates shipped with RTC, you can open a "process published site" for the process used in your project area from the project area editor, in "process description" section, it will make you understanding the process used in your project more easily, and that site was created by RMC.
