Can you use more than one application server for front-end

I'm pretty sure in 2.x you can only have a 1:1 RTC application server to Jazz Repository Server, but can you scale 3.x by adding RTC Application Servers?

Of course,they will want to take everything (history, metadata...)
with them when they migrate, so we can't just take a single baseline
and start from there...
