Is it possible to use RTC SCM technology from other applications?

In particular would it be possible to integrate it with Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect for instance?

Currently we're using ClearCase to do this.

Hi,

Anything new on this front?

Does RTC support the SCC interface?

Is there a way to fool EA into thinking that there is a SCC tool and make it save the XMI files to a directory that is under RTC control?

Is there a way to "FORCE" RTC to source control any file that has changed?

Is there a scripting language in RTC that I can invoke using an EA Addin?

Thanks for any help,

Shimon

"Does RTC support the SCC interface?"

Yes, there's a MSSCCI-Provider for RTC available: https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/4.0.3/RTC-MSSCI-Client-repo-4.0.3.zip

But you should know, it has some issues I posted here:

Hi William,

Can you please provide your RTC-EA plugin code?
I am working on Integration of RTC-EA using OSLC-CM API's.

Thanks in advance.
