Custom Reporting automated installation on Linux is failing

Hi,

the automated installation of CR in Linux does not work even Installation Manager tells you everything went OK. If I choose to create the databases automatically only the RIDW database is created during install. The cognos logs telling you, that the RICM database is not accessible, when try to start the insight server and the content manager will never get started.
So after you have choosen the automatic install follow the steps in the help to get the RICM DB up and running:

OK after having created RICM DB manually with the install.sh script I did the following steps:
1. imported the updated reports allrqm.zip
2. fixed the signons for the datasource

I can now connect to RIDW and RIDW ETL datasource.
Connection to RQM and RQM ETL is failing even I configured the right connection information in XML Data Configuration Lite.
There are multiple reasons for the error:

* the information in the odbc.ini are incorrect see technote:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21411699
* the information in the odbcinst.ini are incorrect, the ODBC driver path contains a non existent path to the shared library
Driver = /opt/ibm/ratlxml/odbc/libratlxml.so
fix to /opt/ibm/RationalInsight/dataconfig/odbc/libratlxml.so
Setup = /opt/ibm/ratlxml/odbc/libratlxmlS.so
fix to /opt/ibm/RationalInsight/dataconfig/odbc/libratlxmlS.so

* on RHEL 5 I have to install missing libraries for odbc(rpms unixODBC-2.2.11 and unixODBC-devel-2.2.11)
* I copied the odbc.ini and odbcinst.ini to the /etc dir as described here
http://www.unixodbc.org/internals.html

After fixing this I can connect to RQM ETL but not to RQM datasource (live data source).
I run into the same problem described here:
Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key MDSRVRequestInvoker.noResponse
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=14429160

Now I can run at least data warehouse based reports.
But I can't run live reports.
Has somebody else the RQM Live datasource running with RCR on RHEL 5 and DB2?

Thanks in advance,
Ren Meyer
