Ask a question

Is there a way to combine two components into one?

Hello,

One of my client is asking this:

He has a stream repository workspace contained multiple components, let say A & B, he wants to create a parent component C contain A & B, he still wants all of the files to remain separate in A & B. His ultimate goal is to get a single component C with two sub-components that contain different/unique source code. When they figure out which source code is working, and which is not, they will want to merge the two component into one, which is component C. Is this doable? If not, any alternative approach for him to achieve his goal? Thanks for any response in advanced!

I don't quite understand the question.
Once they figure out which one is working, why not just remove the one
that isn't working? I.e., what is the purpose for creating component C?

Cheers,
Geoff
