Non-LDAP -> LDAP conversion question

Hello All,

If I have 5 users that I created (jdoe->jdoe4) and then I start using LDAP, will I be able to still use these users with their same LDAP ids (jdoe->jdoe4)?

I am hearing conflicting reports?

I believe when we did this sometime last year, we had a similar situation, had several users already configured in the tool with generic names - converted to ldap and ldap seemed to pick up on the 'full name' rather than the id that we'd generated and prevented us from using those .. ldap wouldn't return those users when you did a create or import as they already existed but didn't have access ... we had to zap those users and recreate ... just my two pennies worth
