RTC-RRC-RQM DBs within 3 schemas of 1 Oracle DB - OK ?

The 3 InfoCenter 'Setting up an Oracle database' links for the creation of the DB of RTC, RRC and RQM mention creating 3 'distinct' Oracle DBs.

Is creating 3 Oracle Schemas (one for RTC, one for RRC, one for RQM) within 1 existing Oracle Database also a good option ?
Any contraindication to this Oracle 'setup' ?
