Server License Activation - RTC for i

We had previously installed RTC for i Standard for an evaluation. After concluding the eval and purchasing the Express version, we are hitting an issue activating the server license.

I was under the impression that the license key determines the capabilities/features in RTC. Downloading the bits from PPA, the zip files appear the same as those from the trial download section of the Jazz.net site.

Can an Express server license be activated if the installed bits are the Standard server? If yes, then is it possible to uninstall/remove the previous trial server activation and install the express server key?
