Cannot disable STARTSSL from email configuration

Hi,

I tried to configure RTC to send email notifications through our email server. This server allows STARTSSL and advertise as ESMTP.

RTC will always send a STARTSSL, even is I disable the STARTSSL option in the setup page.

How can I force RTC to disable STARTSSL, or where/how can I add my own Certificate Authority to those used by RTC, so STARTSSL will succeed?

TIA

Olivier

Having the same issue. Self-singed certs seem to be a no go.

I ended up running an SMTP server (one that does not advertise STARTSSL) on the same box as RTC and using this as email gateway for RTC, but that is a nasty workaround...

Since mine is just an evaluation, I ended up using gmail's smtp.
