Jazz Team Login being displayed in separate window

Paul Verrone (1361127) | asked Jan 06 '10, 10:56 a.m.
On a fresh install of RRC 2, I notice that when I browse to the web application (https://rqm:9443/rdm/web/rrc), I am presented with a Jazz Team login page which loads in a separate browser window. Entering my credentials works, but the RRC web page never seems to finish loading (seems to stick on loading an image). In the URL for the window of the Jazz login, I noticed that the URL is that of the RRC web server, but with a FQDN.

I also have RQM set up, and when logging in, the Jazz login window appears in the same browser window, not a separate one.

Is there some setting that controls this?

Hi Paul,

Do you mean this url

https://rqm:9443/rdm/web/rrc

or

https://rrc:9443/rdm/web/rrc

Also are you running everything on the same laptop, if so then you will need different port numbers for rrc and rqm

I wasn't clear in my original post.

I have RQM installed on one application server, and RRC installed on another application server.

When I load the RRC home page, a second browser window pops up where I need to provide my login credentials. I notice that the URL in this second window is the FQDN of my server. I'm wondering why the login window for RRC appears in a separate browser window and if there is a way to avoid that behavior.

The install of RQM (separate entity on separate server) loads the login in the same browser window and not a separate window, which is the desired behavior from my point of view.
