How do I get the component section of the requirement selection dialog box to show me all available compenents?

 When I am in CCM and I try to link a work item using "Add Tracks Requirement" it prompts "Select either the location of the existing artifact you want to link to or the location of the new artifact you want to create" and provides me with one option (my project) then it displays the Requirement selection dialog box On the very top the component drop down box is greyed out and it shows only one of the two components I have in this project. How do I get it to show the other component so that I can link the work item to artifacts found there?
