Api capabillities question

 I am looking to create a widget that uses javascript only and runs on client side. I had the idea to use the Global Configuration Management REST API which would work perfectly. 

My issue is what if I need to do something like create a stream from a rm baseline or any other rm functionality. I see that you guys have Client extension API for the Requirements Management (RM) application but my widget could be running on gc and doing a bunch of tasks and some of them being on RM side. The issue is that RM does not seem to be available on my javascript global scope only GCM.client is and im assuming its because im running the widget in gc web page. Is there any way possible to access api functionality for rm from javascript code widget running in gc page?
