Making changes to the dashboard - error reported when saying : error CRJAZ1036E content could not be saved

the system is 6061 - up until recently everything was working correctly, then suddenly when trying to customize the dashboards with the "auto save" checked on it looks like its going to save and then provide the error above saying content cannot be saved.  (manual save via the button also does not work), only RTC affected

Diagnostics as showing a similar error for content cannot be saved against the DB, but the DBA's do not see any issues with the database.

Can't find any other material relating to this - other than the dashboards, the system is behaving as expected.
