RRC 2.0 / ReqPro 7.1 integration

Bruno Braga (48013621) | asked Dec 10 '09, 7:52 p.m.
What is the recommended version for the RRC / ReqPro integration?

I found the text below but it is not clear. What fix number?

The integration with Rational RequisitePro is not supported in Rational Requirements Composer version 2.0 and Rational RequisitePro version 7.1.1. Do not attempt to run the Rational RequisitePro database configuration scripts for the integration and do not attempt to configure a connection from Rational Requirements Composer to Rational RequisitePro until an update fix release is available and installed. After installing the fix release, proceed with the following instructions.

https://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rpcmpose/v2r0/topic/com.ibm.rational.rrc.help.doc/topics/t_config_reqpro.html

At this moment I don't intend to use the database sync, I would use the "Adding a requirement to Rational RequisitePro".

I have used this integration in RRC 1.0 but I'm curious about this warning.

I'm not completely certain about the availability of the necessary ReqPro fix, but in terms of the RRC integration support for ReqPro, that will be available in 2.0.0.1 due out at the end of the month.

Just to follow up, ReqPro 7.1.1 is available, but to support the integration, there will be an iFix01 that will need to be applied. That iFix will be available at the same time as 2.0.0.1.

Note that the iFix will only contain fixes for the integration.

Hi,

I am also trying do the RequisitePro to RRC Integration for one of my customers and have reached the point where I need the iFix01 to RRC V2.0/V2.0.0.1 to complete this piece of work.

So, can you confirm the date when both RRC V2.0.0.1 and iFix01 will be available?

regards,

Sam Sultana.
