Problem with test script after import from RQMExcelImporter

I have a PDF export problem after importing a test script from Excel. If I added an image to an imported test step of a test script, and print the test script to PDF, the resulting PDF will not display the image.

Here are the steps to I took to produce the problem:
1. Import some test scripts from Excel using RQMExcelImporter.
2. Added an image to the Expected Results column of one of the imported test steps of the imported test script.
3. Print the test script to PDF
4. You will see that the image that you added does not display in the PDF.

Does anyone have the same problem or know how to resolve it?

Thanks,
Alan

Hi Alan,
Which version of RQM are you using?
If you create a test script and use "Insert Image" to insert your image into a step, does that show up when you do a PDF print?
Thanks,
John

Thanks for your help John.

I'm using RQM 2.0.

If I create a NEW test script, and use Insert Image to insert the image, then it shows up normal in PDF. Even if I add a new step to an imported test script, and use Insert Image to insert the image to the new step, it still shows up fine. The only time when problem happens is when I use Insert Image to insert the image to a step that is imported.

Thanks,
Alan

Alan,
I think we've done enough diagnosis at this point to determine that you are bumping into a product defect. Sorry about that. Can you submit a workitem on jazz.net that includes this information discussed below?
Thanks,
John
