Adding a new custom status to approval workflow

 Hello!


I need to enter a new value "On Hold" with the same behavior as 'Pending' during the work item approval cycle in RTC/CCM.
I tried to define a  new workflow for approval tracking but the client does not allow me to add a status for approvers but only to edit the already existing ones.

Is there a way to add a custom status to the approval workflow ?

No, there is not, as far as I know.

I'm also looking for customize approval tracking but couldn't find a way. By edit, do you mean you were able to rename one of the existing approval states? How would that be done?
